The Mission

The mission of GroupTicketFinder (GTF) is to create a platform through which internationals students can not only save up to 70% of their train fares but are able to meet peers from various fields with whom they may not be able to interact with otherwise. The core idea is to create a digital space that merges the existing WA groupochats that serve the purpose of finding others travelling on the same calendar dates to the same destination.

Problem

The problem we are addressing is the high NS ticket prices, especially for those whom the current NS subscription model does not fit. The pain point is the price with regards to domestic mobility.

The Solution

Our solution is a website that serves as an umbrella for similar WA groups so that the networking effects become stronger. This would translate into a higher matching rate for finding a travelling partners, and as the size of the group increases the the price of the ticket/ person further decreases.
