Problem
In the European Environmental Agency report of 2020, households and Retailers consist of the 50-60% of the total Food waste generated, which based on the European Fusions Project is about 60% of the food waste is avoidable. And food waste is just food that we lacked the knowledge or motivation to use it. I am looking to fill that gap of knowledge and motivation needed for the average household to manage waste correctly
The Solution
An app that informs you of the current surplus of food in the market with focus on seasonal foods that are widely available in your region, providing information about how to recognise edible food as well recommended storage conditions.
